How you can help
Step 1: Become a citizen scientistRegister now and join our growing network of citizen scientists actively helping combat invasive species. Our groups make a difference by collecting field data on the locations of invasive species.
Step 2: Join a projectJoin one of our existing projects (take time to look through our list of existing citizen science groups to decide if there is already a project that interests you). Or, request to become an initiator to create your own project if our current projects are not mapping the species you are interested in or are not located in your region.
Step 3: Collect field dataUse our field tools to collect field data and have your data automatically added to CitSci.org! We have many guidelines to help you by listing step-by-step methods to map invasive species in the field.
Step 4: Make a mapMap invasive species and see all the data your group has collected! Customize your map to include the species you are interested in and zoom in to a location you are working in. |
